Keizo MORISHITA

Born 1944 in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Morishita left for Italy at the age of 19, and studied sculpture at the Accademia di Brera in Milan under Marino Marini. While enrolled at the Accedemia, Morishita submitted his work for the San Fedele Prize, and held a solo exhibition at Studio Marconi. Despite of his young age, he was received favorably by the Italian art scene.

Morishita continued to live in Italy for about three decades. His first solo exhibition in Japan was held in 1979. He died in Milan on April 5, 2003, in an accident.
