Douglas DARDEN |
Born in Denver, Colorado in 1951. Studied design at Parsons School of Art and Design in New York from 1976. 1983, graduated with distinctions from Harvard University Graduate School Department of Architecture. Taught at Harvard and Columbia. 1988, awarded the Rome Prize, spend one year as a research fellow at teh American Academy in Rome. |
From 1990, taught at University of Colorado. From 1983, traveled New York, Chicago, Washington DC, Oslo, Tokyo, Osaka, and more locations exhibiting his theoretical drawings. 1992, held a drawing exhibition in Chicago, and published a collection of works from Princeton University Press. Passed away in 1996 from leukemia. |
